Colour coded tongs will help you to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment. Available in a wide range of colours, each designated to a specific use, helps to avoid cross contamination between food groups such as raw and cooked meats. Purple kitchen utensils have been designed for protecting against allergens and preparing foods for customers with specific dietary requirements.
Other colours include red for raw meat, blue for raw fish and green for salad or fruit. Colour coded tongs can be paired with coloured chopping boards and colour coded knives in order to maintain a regimented, colour coded and hygienic food preparation environment.
